Associate Consultants

Clarity is seeking motivated and talented college graduates for our Chicago-based Business Intelligence (BI) Practice. As an entry-level Associate Consultant, you will embark on a challenging and rewarding career with one of the fastest growing professional services firms in the country, implementing cutting-edge business analytics solutions for Fortune 500 companies.

Ideal candidates possess the following attributes

  • College diploma or university degree
  • Highly analytical and demonstrated technical aptitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven leadership and teamwork experience
  • A strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
  • A willingness to travel
  • 0 to 2 years of experience
  • Must have US citizenship or must be a permanent U.S. resident
  • Must live in the Chicago, IL area or be willing to relocate
  • Experience with the following a plus:
  • Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Linux or UNIX-like operating systems
  • Programming Languages (Java, C#, C/C++, Python, Perl, PHP, Fortran)
  • Databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, Netezza, Teradata, DB2)
  • Statistical and Analytics Tools and Platforms (SAS, R, Matlab, Mahout, NLTK, Bayesian Models)
  • Data Integration Tools (Informatica, DataStage, Ab Initio)
  • Reporting Tools (MicroStrategy, Cognos, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
  • Office Analytical tools (Excel, MS Access)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Working with industry experts to analyze business and data requirements
  • Developing data integration and analytics applications using industry-leading technologies
  • Working with experienced teams to ensure application quality and scalability
  • Learning and applying new technologies and platforms (e.g. data virtualization, Hadoop, advanced analytics, predictive modeling) designed to answer our client’s biggest data challenges
